In September 2023, Brett, an assistant principal at Roseburg High School, and a devoted dad and husband, was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. As he navigates this challenging journey, the Josh Bidwell Foundation stepped in to provide essential support, helping Brett and his family find hope and resilience during this difficult time. Through the foundation’s assistance, Brett remains committed to his family and school community, drawing strength from those around him and the resources offered.

In 2019, Kitty, a single mom of four, faced the unimaginable challenge of a cancer diagnosis. During this difficult time, the JBF became a beacon of hope for her and her children. Through the Foundation's Holiday Families program and a special fundraiser dedicated to her at the annual auction, Kitty received the resources and encouragement she needed to keep fighting and care for her family.
